Well its officially the "most wonderful time of the year"! But if you haven't quite gotten into the Christmas spirit and still need help designing your holiday party, Shine is here to help! Whether you are looking for something traditional, elegant, colorful or just plain fun, the holidays are no longer limited to simple red and green. We've paired some of our awesome event images with their tree counterparts to give you a starting point to make your holidays really SHINE!
Metallic Gold & White
A little traditional, a little modern, but overall just beautiful! Give your event a romantic and intimate feeling with white icicle and stringer lights and create a focal point to your event with an eclectic combination of metallic gold stars rigged to the ceiling.
The Mission San Juan Capistrano is one of the most iconic venues in Orange County and Shine always has fun illuminating the historic buildings. Use bold and vibrant colors with a little South of the Border flare for a non-traditional look.
Create an elegant affair with a subtle yet impactful shade of lavender. This soft hue pairs well with pearl, silver, metallics, white and ivory to create an understated stylish event. Use a lavender tree or a white tree with lavender embellishments to complete the look.
After partnering on a Beverly Hills fundraiser (see story in link below) with conservation as its focus, we love the idea of creating a truly recycled Christmas. "Green" has come a long way from reusing "trash" and can be a great way to show your guests your social responsibility in a unique way.
Rainbows and Reindeer
Who says you have to pick one, two or three colors this Christmas.... if you can't choose, pick them all! This technicolored event we produced for Catersource & Event Solutions would be perfect for a White Christmas with a little rainbow accent.
The Snow Flake Ball
Although this Snow Flake Ball theme may be traditional, this event produce in Orange County for our corporate client was anything but traditional. Use moving gobo projections around the perimeter of your space, a high-res LED screen behind the main stage and incorporate trendy activities like social media photo booths and LED glowing pool tables to turn the old new again.
Wedding White Wonderland
Did you just get married and going through wedding white withdrawals? Turn your holidays into a romantic winter white wonderland with a nod to the most memorable day of your 2014.
When you work with lots of corporate clients that travel to Southern California, they always want a beach party, even if it is the middle of December. There is no better way to celebrate a fun holiday than with flip flops, palm fronds, beach balls, sand castles, bright colors and lifeguards!
Ok, so definitely not a traditional holiday theme. But if your group likes to have fun, you could possibly knock it out of this world with this look. Encourage costumes, create superhero boot camp with jousting, zip lines and rock walls, use an LED graffiti wall for a photo booth and a caricature artist to turn all your guests in to their alternate egos!
